Large Item freight courier for shipping retail goods or other items that cannot be transported by a general courier services.
North Island Furniture Freight
Large or small furniture items whether its a single piece of furniture, or small-medium furniture removal job (garage-to-garage or similar locations).
We don’t move:
- Spa Pools, Pool Tables, Marble or Stone Tables, Pianos or any similar heavy items
- We don’t move items that can’t be safely lifted by manpower available
- For freight of heavier items our standard service is to transport items curb-to-curb, or garage-to-garage or similar easy access. If you need heavy items like sofa beds etc carried (eg up stairs, around backyard, etc) and not moved by trolley you must inform us well prior to the job day. This does no apply to furniture removal services as long as these items are discussed beforehand and moving these items is thus agreed upon.
- While we can dispose of clean items at the dump. No dirty items, rubbish or similar tip service sorry as we need to maintain clean vehicles for furniture or other sensitive freight.
- We can’t carry items longer than 4.5m
- No dangerous goods accepted for carriage

Goods Moved Safely Point-to-Point
Generally, we don’t collect items and unload them at our depot, or transfer them to another van or truck. 95% of our deliveries are completed “point-to-point”. This means our team will collect your goods, pack & strap them safely and the next time they are moved it to unload them for delivery. This act of minimal handling greatly reduces the possibility of damage or misdirected freight.
